In my travels around blogland there really have been some beautiful blogs I have found which have been so inspiring. Some of the most amazing ones have been from Scandinavia, with all their lovely white and sense of style that is so them. I just wish I could copy it to some degree, but the funny thing is (maybe this is why I could never be a decorator) I just don't think I could reproduce the essence of that amazing style, even though I can scan the pictures to see the details, I just can't really work out what it is that makes the rooms so special! They just are!!
Of course I can't understand a word on most of them, but a picture speaks a thousand words, huh! Here's some of the ones I really love. I hope they don't mind me putting a few pictures here and you can click on the pictures to go to their blog sites. I hope you visit them for a peak....
There is a blog here in Australia, Simple Thing Small Joys, which has a style which is similar and is absolutely gorgeous to behold. Her style seems simple, but I think maybe deceptively so, I suspect it is harder to achieve than it may seem! It sure is incredibly beautiful. I think she only lives a few miles away from me, and I love checking out her blog...her house and style is so enchanting...I'm keen to buy one of her lovely creations.

Hi Vickie,
I too am addicted to Scandinavian blogs. You are so right how they look so simple but there is that something that is hard to put your finger on.
I have not visited a couple of the one you have mentioned I will have to do that tomorrow.
