Shabby Chic DVDs

I was having a cruise around the internet looking to see what is happening with the Shabby Chic DVDs and have found that they are being released on the 15th of April and will each be US$14.99.  I had a look on the Shabby Chic site and there's nothing on there about the DVDs there.  Well, here's a bit of a look at them. 

It appears there are only three so far and apparently they go for around 66 minutes each.  I suppose that means there might be three shows on each DVD?  So I'm wondering whether there will be more DVDs to come since she did 56 shows, so you would think so.  Anyway, I'm sure they will sell really well!  I'm going to dig out my old video cassettes tomorrow and see if they still work as I've just realised I do have a video player, noticed it the other day on our DVD player!

I love the mail...

I was such a lucky girl this week to receive some really lovely parcels in the mail, some expected and some unexpected! 

This first one was a lovely gift from Natasha Burns who does the most prettiest paintings as well as other fabulous things such as faux sweet treats.  It was a lovely surprise and I'm so happy to have received it from her.  It's now hanging in my lounge room.  I love Natasha's paintings and I especially love her dress paintings which are original to her!  How did she know I've been planning to get one of her dress paintings?!

The second parcel was from a really lovely lady, Anita of My Country Cottage Garden, who sews the most gorgeous lavender hearts as well as  other items.  They go so quickly from her blog site and I was really lucky to be able to buy a couple from her before everyone else got them!  I have found the perfect spot for them.  She included a special extra, a Tilda bird.  I just love them all.

My third parcel is from Becky at Romantic Rose Boutique.  She's such a lovely lady and I've bought a few items from her.  I'm paying off a collection of china from her and here is the first installment!  I love to visit her website often as she has the most gorgeous items and she is fantastic to deal with.   

Country Style

I was walking thru the local supermarket last week and happened past the magazine rack, which to be quite honest usually doesn't catch my eye at all, but this time I glanced over and saw this most glorious cover of a home all dressed in the most perfect way.  Quite excitedly I picked it up and flicked my way thru it and found these stunning pictures. 

The magazine is sold only here in Australia.  It's not a magazine I've ever noticed before but I most certainly will keep my eye out for it from now on.

If you live in Australia this issue is out now so go pick up a copy, you won't be sorry!

Believe it or not this home was decorated by a bloke.  Not that I don't think a bloke can do this, it's just that they don't normally like a style such as this, but there you go!  He must be a bit special, hey!  He has an antique shop in Lismore, New South Wales, close enough for me to think about a trip down to check it out!  Enjoy!!
