Another good movie to go see...

Last Saturday, my sister and I went to the movies to see the Spiderwick Chronicles.  We decided, after seeing the short, that it might be best to leave the 9 and 5 year old daughters/nieces with our mum.  Good choice I think as Jenelle, my sister, thinks the kids might have had nightmares from the ogre and trolls. 

Anyway we both enjoyed it very much.  We both agreed that it wasn't quite as good a Stardust which we enjoyed enormously, but we did enjoy it quite well.  We'd recommend it for others to definitely go and see, but if you have kids under 10 prone to nightmares it might be best to check it out first!  Can you tell my sister and I love fantasy movies, but they have to be well-done!

My sister is going to make it up to the kids by going and seeing Nim's Island with Jodie Foster, which looks like good family fun.  Shame I have to go to work, I'd rather go see it myself with them, but I think I'll wait till it comes out on DVD. 

Still trying to talk my sister into going and seeing a good horror movie with me, I usually enjoy watching her as much as the movie!  Last one I talked her into was The Grudge, which scared the crap out of her, so it was really good!  I LOVE a good horror, but it has to have a good story with it, not just a slasher one!

I had to come back again just to tell you I've been browsing through your pictures of your lovely home and felt in love with it. You have such an adorable "white" and "pink" house (my favorite colors)!
