I don't know about you guys, but I love a good designer book with lots of beautiful, inspirational pictures. I thought it might be fun to show some of my favourites. These are all available on Amazon and if you look them up you can get new or used books. I have found that it has been a fabulous place to buy books, with no hick ups at all.
For international postage, I find the paperback books usually come within a couple of weeks as they come airmail, but the hardcover books take about three months as they come seamail. The other great thing is if you look up some books, it gives you recommendations for other books which you might enjoy.
The following are some of the ones I love...
Victoria At Home with White is my favourite book of all time. It was the first one I ever bought about four years ago, but I absolutely love it. If I'm feeling stressed or need some inspiration, I love to pull this book out for a browse. It always makes me feel calm and happy.
Comfortable Country is a paperback book which I bought a few months ago. It has really shabby, vintage furniture and decoration and I find it really inspiring. I love this book!
Designers in Residence is full of pictures of designers homes, including Rachel Ashwell. It isn't my favourite but I do enjoy flicking thru it.
Junk Style is the last book I have bought and it's really cute ~ don't get a shock when you buy it, it's paperback and really tiny! A small sized book, but full of beautiful pictures. I really enjoy browsing this book for inspiration. A definite fave!
This Shabby Chic Collection book is really huge and heavy! It incorporates all three of Rachel Ashwell's first books ~ Shabby Chic, Treasure Hunting and Shabby Chic Home. A really inspirational book and much cheaper to buy it second hand with all three books in one rather than buying all three separately. A definite fave!
This books is interesting as it has the workrooms of some really creative professional ladies. Who doesn't like looking at other peoples' workrooms, I sure do!
There are heaps of other fabulous books, and thes are just some of them.
Please excuse my dodgy photos, even throwing the camera on the floor didn't help! Ooops, my temper showing there, but it sure is frustrating when this little piece of equipment just won't work. It's usually a marathon to get anything out of it, a new one coming soon I think before I have an aneurism with all the stress of it....
Lots of new books to add to my wishlist! Thanks for sharing!!!
And I love Where Women Create...still trying to get my studio worthy of viewing even on here...lol!

I love the same books you do. I usually go to Barnes and Nobles every weekend to just spend hours looking at books like that :)
Have a great day

Another great post I am in the process of decorating my sewing room & had struck a blank wall-I wll have to see if I can track down that women workspace book.
P.S Love the job on the dining room too-well done, you must be proud.
