It certainly can be fun cruising around real estate sites. A little while ago I happened upon this house for sale in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. I saved the pictures because it was just so inspirational to me because it was so simple. That's the hard bit, I find, keeping it simple. Not so much with wanting to fill my house up, but more with the world opening up with the internet you can buy the most beautiful things and it can be hard to say no sometimes. You always seem to find that something just a bit nicer than the last thing and you can't say no!
This house is lovely; my colours, beautiful old house, and just a lovely mix of modern and vintage and shabby and chic. I could really imagine myself living there. I don't think they would have had any trouble selling the home. I wanted to go and have a look just to soak up the atmosphere! It really is a lesson in simplicity.
Not to harp on couches at all, but look in the photo above in the right-hand bottom corner...*sigh* my couch ~ slap, get over it girl!
Hi Vickie,
I just wish I could take photo's like that of my house. My walls are cream & in photo's everything just has a yellow hue-very annoying.Has me wondering if the house always looks like that, I mean where's all their stuff?Maybe they aren't clutterbugs like me.
Enjoy your day

Hi Vickie that surely is a beautiful home. I wonder if they only 'decluttered' to sell the house because it really is calling out for a few more decor items. You are right though it is a lesson in simplicity, one my husband wants me to learn. I'll take the 2 white slip covered couches in that photo.
Have a great week.
