It's been very hot here in Australia, especially down in South Australia and Victoria. I received this email at work which made my day!
"It has been so hot in SA for over a week…40+ degrees Celsius (over 104 Fahrenheit) everyday, and very dry.
A guy at work lives at Maude. His wife sent him these photos of a little Koala which just walked into the back porch looking for a bit of heat relief. She filled up a bucket and this is what happened!"
Poor little bloke! But what a little cutey!
Awe, Poor little fella! In my state in the U.S it is 14 degrees!! Brrrrr!!! Lori

You know I enjoyed these pictures so much, I'm keeping them in my favorite photo file. Precious for the first one. Quite amusing for the last. By the way is that your beautiful lovely home on the header?

What sweet pictures! It is hard to imagine that it is so very hot somewhere else this time of year when we are so cold here!!
Loved your photos of the Country Living home- I stopped taking the magazine as it was more country most of the time and hadn't seen this lovely home!

That koala bear is so sweet!! Are they gentle animals? It is amazing how different our countries are. Here in Canada it was too cold today to let the kids play outside at recess. This morning the temp was a chilly -25 but feeling more like -35 with the windchill. However this Saturday the temp. is supposed to rise to a balmy +4...I can't wait!! We are all so tired of the snow and cold and are eagerly awaiting Spring.
Hugs~

Hi Vickie it sure has been hot here. My garden is in a terrible state. I think over 30 houses were lost in one of the fires. In that respect I guess my garden doesn't matter but I was trying to have it nice for 4th April on Amy's wedding day as she will be leaving from my home and wanted some pics. with the roses. My poor little hedges are burnt to a crisp so I don't know if they can be saved at all.

Our lives are so different! Our seasons are so different!! Our landscapes are so different! But, where we are the same is in our definitions of beauty. Your blog continually fascinates me...time and time again. I love to visit it and do often. I have never seen a Koala bear. How adorable! And I wake up to a gorgeous snowstorm, and you have Hot weather. So you can see the joy I get from visiting your corner of the world. Keep on posting!!
