A little bit about my home ... visit my photo albums for more pictures !

All my life I've loved old houses, but I never thought I'd be lucky enough to own a house which is around 110 years old ... my dream home.  Old wooden floors, french doors going out onto wrap around verandas, claw foot bath, 10 foot ceilings and lots of VJ walls.  And a third of an acre to try my hand at a lovely cottage garden.

We bought it nearly two years ago after living in a townhouse for years.  Townhouse was good to us though as even though it was a millstone around our necks for many years, in the end it sold for a good amount of money ... enough to allow us to move out of town and buy this gorgeous dream home.  We both love it out here in the country.  Lots of travel to get to work for me, but no regrets in any way!
